In continuation of the fine legacy of fundraising for deserving Santa Clara County non-profit organizations, Summit League will present a garden luncheon May 30, 2019. A Day in The Garden to Remember will be held on the magnificent grounds of a beautiful Los Gatos home. Respite and Research for Alzheimer’s Disease will be the recipient of the proceeds. Their mission is “To enrich the lives of people affected by Alzheimer’s and related conditions by providing safe, nurturing, intergenerational services and support.”
The event will offer a marketplace, delicious food and featured speaker Elizabeth Gelfand Stearns, an award-winning advocate, and activist who has worked to ignite public awareness and raise funds for research in the battle against Alzheimer’s disease. She served on the National Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association and produced the critically acclaimed movie, Still Alice.
More information will be available on this website in early 2019.
